About the event
Now more than ever, we need to explore, create and play. This session will bring together people who want to play games, create express and connect to our inner children (because they are way cooler than our 'adult' selves!'. Being in lockdown doesn't change our need or ability to play, and at the end I will share some ideas to build in more of these things to your every day life.
I'll be adapting physical games and maybe creating new ones to work virtually. This is about experimenting and exploring for me too! We will move our bodies a little and share some things about ourselves as we play. It will come from the heart more than the head, no winners or losers and no right or wrong. This will be a small group of 8 and free/pay as you feel. It will be a fun, safe environment to explore, express and have fun. I have around 15 years experience as both a drama practitioner and a psychologist and on a personal level I know the benefit of creative play on wellbeing. I hope you can come and play with me for this session!
This event is FREE or donation based if you feel :) Zoom link sent an hour before the event.

We will start with a brief chat about the importance of play on the body and brain, followed by some 'getting in the moment' mindfulness. Then we will move into play- the sort of games you might do as ice-breakers, team-building and drama games (without the role-play).
This is as experimental for me as it is for you and I'd LOVE feedback as this is a pilot. Please come with an open mind and heart and willingness to smile!
