ADULT ADHD

Free virtual sessions for adults

I offer free virtual sessions for adults who have, or feel they have, ADHD. These are accessed via a Facebook group and are topic based, aimed at psychoeducation and boundaried sharing for those who want.

Topics so far have included:

  • Sleep

  • Addictions

  • Emotional Sensitivity

  • Procrastination

  • The link between ADHD and Trauma

  • ADHD an women / girls

To find out more, you can join this private group: (2) ADHD Adult Virtual Support Sessions | Facebook

I also co-run a much larger peer support group where the aim is posting or reading posts to gain understanding, validation and a feeling of connection. This can be joined here: (2) ADULT ADHD COMMUNITY | Facebook

I have a diagnosis of ADHD myself and offer this support as there is such a gap in the system to support adults with ADHD, other than simply via medication. Research shows that by gaining awareness and insight into how this impacts, quality of life can significantly improve. Knowledge is power!

Feel free to get in touch with any questions about this work, or join a group just to see the sort of content that happens.

Training on ADHD in children and adults

I deliver various trainings on ADHD in children and adults. These are for professionals, parents and adults with ADHD.

One of the most popular is the link between ADHD and Trauma (and early life experience).

This is informed by the work of individuals at the front of trauma informed practice such as Gabor Mate, Peter Levine, Bessel Van Der Kolk, Stephen Porges and Dan Siegal.
